Rules for 220 v intallation

It's my first presence in your forum.
I am french (nobody is perfect) and in some months i land in yours waters
for my greatest pleasure. Since 15 years, i came in NZ 7 times as tourist and i know your fantastic country from Stewart Island to Reinga cape.
Explanation: my alone son is working in Nouméa.
My boat is a 33 feet, Wauquiez Gladiateur and i bought it 39 years ago..., exactly middle of my life!
I know that an inspection is necessary to get 220 v power in the marina and i would like to know the NZ rules for a perfect acceptable installation, with the good standards. Where can i find these informations?

We had an electrical inspection done Opua. It focused on the AC breaker and the shore cord connection at the boat. The shore cord also needed to be inspected and seperately tagged. It was not a very detailed or in depth inspection.

I am assuming that your boat is internally wired for 220V already.

My onboard inspections in NZ have really just involved ensuring that there was no internal wiring exposed in such a manner that it could suffer mechanical damage.

Shore lead.... must be tagged and have the correct plugs on the ends. My experience is based on Gulf Harbour/ Tauranga late last year / early this year.
I just bought a new shore lead at Bunnings, cut the plugs off the ends , and fitted new ones bought from Burnsco.
They want the blue ones which have the clear panel so the polarity can be checked without opening them up. Look at the ones here ( left and right ) https://www.smartmarine.co.nz/produc...na-connectors/ to see the type required.

When I cut the ends of the shore lead I left about 1/2 metre 'pigtails' so that I could make up a pair of adapters for use 'wherever'.
