Power Inverter

I have a Mac 26S and want to install a power inverter...My ? is should I ground it...if so to where? I think there is a ground in the battery compartment under the sink.I am not very familiar with this topic at all...lol Any help would be appreciated as I have read several technical explanations and still am not sure where or how to accomplish this safely.

I'd look at the installation guidelines for the inverter of your choice. I'd highly suggest using marine wiring for the AC voltage and GFI plugs. Many marine electricians connect the ground wire on the plug to ground on the boat.

Just remember there is a difference between the "ground" and the bonding system!
