80 currently has a dual belt, small frame, internally regulated, Leece Neville 105A alternator
- now dead
I want to replace it with a higher capacity alternator
and Balmer smart external regulator

tells me that the max output they recommend is 130A and dual belts.
Not sure why the 130A max but presumably due to side loading at the crank or water
pump? Perhaps a serpentine belt would resolve this issue but that is an expense that I do not need and 130A is sufficient for me. In any case I just bought new brackets and dual pullies so not keen to throw it all away and start over.
I do not see a small frame, Mororola style mount, alternator from LN over 105A.
Will a large frame alternator fit my engine
using the stock brackets? I have the LN kit to use either a 1 or 2" bottom foot on the Motorola style mount
Anyone else other than LN for reliability
