Help need Aerogen Wind Generator USA Distributor (Parts)

I have a new Aerogen Wind Generator and need a Aerogen 4TB12 Regulator. The website in the UK is incorrect for the USA Distributor.

Any thoughts? Subsitute ? Good vender to cross referance?

Have you tried doing a Google search? I looked briefly and saw a few sites US but didn't investigate. Do the Aerogen's not come with a regulator, or has the regulator failed?

Thanks for a response. I'm installing this for a friend and he bought only the wind generator itself less regulator. It seems Sailnet where he bought the unit doesn't carry Aerogen any longer. I'm really stumped. Since I don't know and literature isn't available on the unit's wiring and function
I'm unsure just to throw any 12 volt regulator on it. He wants it installed
within 3 weeks So buying a regulator from England isn't practical without
throwing lots of dollars into shipping and customs.......

I needed some replacement blades once (that got damaged on my head), at the same time I got a spare regulator from England. I'll look to see if I still have my spare when I get home tonite.
Don't know what model you have but the late 80's early 90's version Aerogen regulator had a bleed-off resistor to burn off any excessive load beyond 14.4V. The downside of this means you can't just shut it off while it spins with controller (need resistor) but the upside... it will trickle charge batts without the minimum setpoint(12.8?) that some of the cheaper windmills use.

I've sold a lot lot of Aerogens and regulators. Used to work for JSI in St.Pete,Fl. they were a distributor when an elderly English fellow owned Aerogen in the UK.
Then Sam Boyle/Sailnet bought JSI.
I worked for SailNet. Sold the remaining JSI inventory, worked with the older gentlemans daughter in the UK.
Sam really buggered up relations with this and most other vendors.
Sailnet went bankrupt.
Then bought again.
Now JSI is sort of back.

Confused? Don't fret.
The Google search is a good idea.
Also Mark D. with Bluewater Sailing in St. Pete, a really good guy, used to be the purchaser for JSI. He might help.
Final thought, as I recall those regulators had a domestic "equvilant"
less expensive and available. I might recommend that if you find a vendor pick up a spare set of blades. These are pretty good units and are probably worth the trouble

Yes I did finally find a USA distributor however out of stock at the time. His online cost for a regulator was probably half of what I paid.

I ended up buying from LVM on line. Got it quick and they have great Tech
support. Customs and shipping not too bad but British Pounds was the killer.

An Aero 6 is pretty big. I finished up my installaton today on a Aerogen 4. It came out quite good. I think Aerogen are well made. clcjr54@hotmail.com

I may not need anything else at the present but I do want to know where I can get parts before putting it on my boat. Yep the 6 is pretty big and my boat isn't but I think I can make it work ok. The price was right, it was given to me. The person that gave it to me just bought the boat and didn't need it as he won't be far from shore power. He had removed the generator and pole but doesn't even know where the regulator is mounted. I haven't had a chance to look for it yet.

I bought my regulator directly from LVMshop in England. Got it in less than a week however paying dollars for a British product cost a bit plus shipping and customs. Below is the only USA source. His price is great but at the time he had no stock:
