Re: Custom Marine Electrical Panel Company

Nice to see all the comments; we've had custom panels made by Bass, Blue Seas, Paneltronics, and MMES. All do very good work with different strengths. For pure custom work it's MMES; Mark can and does make anything including prewiring a "backplane" with labeled terminal strips that saves hours of wiring work and look great. Paneltronics are probably the cheapest of the bunch and Blue Sea's great if you like the look of their panels. One of the things I like about MMES is that they can match an existing boat style including "retro" if that's what you need. After rewiring a few dozen boats you figure out who is great in "everyday stuff" and who are your go to custom jobbers. All the ones mentioned by everyone here do good work and have good service so it depends upon what your particular needs are.

Re: Custom Marine Electrical Panel Company

This is the drawing from Bass. Like I mentioned they are good people who also have better prices than Blue sea. Iwould call them and ask about sending in the lay out. I am sure they do sell individual parts also. I attached a drawing from them of my panel FYI

Re: Custom Marine Electrical Panel Company

The reasons I have chosen the 360 Panel System.
  1. 7 day delivery from the order date.
  2. Online Panel Design &Configure software.
  3. They are a complete modular, meaning you can completely reconfigure the panel at a future date.
  4. Higher Density, means more stuff in a small space.
  5. Custom labels already Installed.
  6. Wide variety of modals available.
  7. An as built Schematic.
  8. Quality Parts.
  9. Price Competitive.
  10. Excellent Customer Service.

Long Live 32 volt.

Did you send in a schematic for the 32 volt side? Or just build it with 24 online and tell them to change 24 to 32?

I realize the breakers are good to 48 volts or something...

I like my 32 volt gear but it makes the off the shelf panels hard to do, I'll be contacting all the manufacturing companies next week when there all out of holiday mode.

I'm figuring somewhere in the $3000 + for the battery management panel and the house panel? Hopefully less...

Yes Ryan,

Use the online Panel Software, at the end of the design process, you will be given the option of adding notes to and about the panel.

If anything is unclear, their Panel Build technician will send an email to you. You can also contact Customer Service, and speak with him/her over the phone.

In all the panels I have designed. Not one was shipped improperly made.

It has made my life so much easier, and In the end it's cheaper for my customers.

This is a pic of an install I'm working on now. It's a 120volt, 32 volt, 12 volt. The bottom panel is the 120 volt, and the upper will be the 12/32 volt
