1 combi switch

Want to wire combi masthead lite [anchor & tricolor] from one switch.

Use a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) Switch to control two loads (one OR the other ‘on’).

The original Dwg was for Bilge Pump control., but the principle's the same for any Double Throw Switch.

Switch would be (say) up for tri, centre off for both off, down for Anchor. Of course you could have down for off, centre for anchor, up for tri. Or you could have up for off, centre for anchor, down for tri.Or you co...... you get what I mean.

Sorry ‘bout that - I was in a hurry, and didn’t explain the circuit, and the Bilge Pump drawing has a bunch of extraneous wires that don’t apply to your application. Just use the “sloppy” sketches added top left & bottom.
There’s two ways to turn both switched circuits “off”.
1. Turn “off” the circuit breaker supplying +12VDC to the centre ‘common’ terminal of the switch.
2. Use a SPDT switch c/w “centre off” position: On2-Off-On1 - or any other combination like Wheels said.
