Please help the ladies out so that they can help you out. List some basic info of yourself and the boat, so she can decide if she wants to reach out to you.

I am just sayinggggggg.

Re: Partner and crew

[QUOTE=Shaggydog44;2075427]Wanted lady as partner, friend and crew aboard 44 foot ketch located at present in Ft. Meyers Beach. I enjoy spontenuiy when it comes to crusing, dining and dancing. When it comes to crew I find that it is better to take some time to get to know each other. I have absolutely no use for drugs or alcholism. Respond to j_burki@yahoo.com Very willing to share pictures of both boat, myself and my two fury crew members. I am willing to take on a third if necessary.

Re: Partner and crew

Boatie!
I finally realised what SSSSM means - saw that a few times ...
Thanks so much

And to the OP: maybe at least mention your age and other minor details?
And maybe give at least a few hints as to what you're looking for in a partner.

And nope, not interested - just some friendly advise so a lady looking for a partner might respond. Not a lot to go on now ... funny the one request is no drug users or alcoholics. Might want to set the bar a little higher then just that

I don't stereo type people. No two people are alike. I have to accept them for who and what they are. Thank You for your kind response. from Captain Jay

Yes, age, physical characters (wt/ht) and wealth are important before the initial contact. If anyone unwilling to disclose signals a red flag.

Re: Partner and crew

Age does matter some - at least, if I were ever to respond to any form of internet dating, I'd like to know if my date is 18 or 80 ... Just sayin'. And there's a few other things I can think off.

I understand keeping personal info private, but asking for a woman as a partner and not willing to even give the most basic info? Good luck with that

I somehow get the impression the OP will accept any woman willing to show up ...

Anyone calling themselves 'Captain' is a red flag too, by the way (unless, of course, they actually hold that rank).

Re: Partner and crew

Yes I hold that tittle for over fifty years. If they are interested in my age instead of the stamina of the lifestyle they wouldn't fit in my world. And yes I am old. 5'11 and whopping 125 lbs. Long haired blonde not Gray and bauld headed with a protruding belly. I think nothing of 30 or 40 bike rides a day. Most people I have met my age are over the hill. Thank you though.

If you are looking for an educated or literate lady, she might be turned off by the multiple typos. Details....details..details...

Exactly. But why waste his time and her time to set up a time to meet and find out the girl in her 20's and he is three times older than her. How long the relationship will last?

If OP wants a young chick, there are plenty of FWB gals willing for doing it for money for the short term basis. If you are poor and old, there is no love here from a young gal. It is a fact of life. Play with the someone in your age group.

Trying to hide it from any potential mate is just lame. I don't know why. There are so many this type of post happened on the sailing forum. What the hell they are thinking.

Maybe its just me, but I don't see anything wrong with shaggydogs post, he just put it out there that he was looking for a person that would be a partner / Crew mate, and he did leave his E-mail so she can contact him for more information as to age etc. personal things are better suited for E-mail Exchange than for the general public, and some people are not maybe as good at expressing thoughts,as others in a Public Forum.
And as to most of the comments,I see the value in what you are saying, it is meant in a helpful way, as our mine.
