Looking for a paid Mate position on a sailing yacht or power yacht delivery.

Hi,

I am interested in a paid Mate position on a sailing yacht or power yacht delivery. I have a USCG Master 100 ton inland license, Mate 100 ton near coastal license and STCW 95 BST.

A little bit about myself:

2001 sailed from Curacao to Vanuatu on the 145' Brigantine Soren Larsen (www.sorenlarsen.co.nz).

2002 sailed from Vancouver to San Francisco on the 85' Tops'l Schooner R. Tucker Thomson (www.tucker.co.nz).

2003 graduates of Square Sail & Falmouth Marine School Able Seaman Certificate in Square Rig. Crewing on the 145' Barque Earl of Pembroke, 153' Barque Kaskelot and 112' Brig Phoenix (www.square-sail.com).

Worked on the 115' Schooner A. J. Meerwald from spring of 2004 - spring of 2006. I started as a Deckhand and finished as 2nd Mate (www.ajmeerwald.org).

Spring of 2007 helped relocate the Denis Sullivan back to Milwaukee WI via the St. Lawrence Seaway. I started as 2nd Mate and finished as 1st Mate (voyage.pierwisconsin.org/ds/).

I have more then 500 days sea time and over 15,000 ocean miles. I am looking for delivery opportunities and am flexible as to size of boat, itinerary etc. Up to now, all of my sailing experience has been on tall ships. I would now like to get some experience on yachts.

Please keep me in mind if you need a Mate on a delivery.
