Kinky mast work in Key West

Me: 180 pounds of sinewy grace
Mast: 30-odd feet of gently swaying terror
You: able to turn a winch handle, drink cold beer, and located in Key West. Prior experience replacing standing rigging a plus

My backstay terminal is cracked, and I'd like to replace it before heading off. I'll be moored in Key West between the 4-6, and then up the coast a bit. If there are any cruisers in the area who don't mind lending a hand, please let me know! I might be able to hoist myself as well, in which case you can just drink the cold beer
Alternatively, any recommendations for a rigger who wouldn't mind a job as small as this (backstay of a 28' monohull), please do pass their names/contact info along too. Just thought this was minor enough to do myself with a bit of help!

Re: Kinky mast work in Key West

In key west, anchored by Fleming Key , just past coast guard station.

2 of us - Brad & Dave

We can help ya. Plenty of on the water rigging repair experience . I climbed the mast recently on this 'ol girl to do some bulb changes.

We are from AK but Dave bought the boat in NC and brought it to FL.
Just cruising around on vacation.

You got a dinghy? We are on kayak...

Give me a jingle. Brad 9197447080
