Early June: Offshore From Ft. Pierce, FL To Chesapeake Bay

I'm looking for someone with at least some experience as watchkeeper to join me in early June to bring my Valiant 40 north to Hampton, VA. The boat is in excellent condition -- a complete equipment list and recent survey will be available for review after we determine if there's a good potential for a match.

You would be either the third or fourth person; the other crew already signed on owns a Valiant 37 and we have both sailed this route before. Target departure date is June 3rd, weather dependent. We may go offshore to Beaufort, NC, and then up the ICW, or we may go around Hatteras - again, weather dependent. We'll have SSB, a sat phone, and Charlie Parker support for weather info enroute.

Food and incidental expenses covered for crew, and some ground travel support may be available. A small airfare allowance may be available for the right person.

Charlie Parker? The country singer?

Think you meant Chris Parker.

Actually, I meant Charlie Parker, the jazz saxophonist who has a little-know side career as a weather guru.

Thanks, dennisjay. Now I know to not post late in the evening while listening to jazz.

Hi my name Mason. I have done 4 passages from Florida north in the past couple months. 110ft PY, 66ft oyster SY, and a couple more. Could be interested. Let me know if you would like me to send a CV. Email is mason.campcrowder@gmail.com. Thank-you for your time.
