Post Atlantic Crossing - Grenada TO Europe

Hello adventurous people!

I have an 28feet sailing boat, its a swedish Laurin Koster, known to be a safe and steady water sailing">blue water sailing boat..

I am looking for two or three people to make the passage back to Scandinavia with it, preferably this spring, I will not be onboard so the vessel is for your disposal, planning and the lots.

I want somebody experienced that know when too put a reef, and general boating maintenance and so forth...

Today its on the hard in St Davids Harbour, Grenada, Caribeean.
So basicly you can use her to sail up the windwards in your own pace and time and your own money.. or you can just take of and cross directly, your choice.

Rules:

Dont break it!

please check this websites for some information about my boat:

This is an opertunity for you who want to cross back to Europe, helping me out to get it to sweden/stockholm (preferably)

Kind regards Pontus Nyhlen

I am not sure if I understand correctly. Why would anyone spend their own money to deliver your boat for you ? It makes no sense to me.

Yeah, I totally agree....this must be the OP's first boat ownership...
How are the crew supposed to get to the vessel in Granada..?..at their own expense..??is there a budget for any needed transat safety equipment...it's also 'standing on the hard'..is it sea-worthy for this crossing ?
Wow, it's not like this is a decent size boat either....3 people on a 28' boat that will get a foot shorter each week !

He probably figured that you'll be enjoying the usage of the boat for a few weeks, while sailing it towards his destination; like a trade-off of service. It just doesn't work that way! Another thing, I wouldn't cross any ocean in a 28 footer either. At a minimum, he needs to pay a crew for their expenses throughout the delivery, plus round-trip air fare. Mauritz

Wonder if the 'Crew' pay for the launch..
So Sea Trial... Sail to St Martin
Boat prep... in shelter of lagoon with cheapest chandlers in the Caribe to hand and good variety of food for stocking up.
Don't sound like much time to 'enjoy' latest I've sailed is mid-June and the weather was okay but some who left later got splashed about a little..
If the OP's out there.. get her launched and sail her to St Martin asap, usually lots of short notice crew available there for the ride to Europe..
