Crew Available: 27yo. Male. Shared Costs for 7 months

Coming off Active Duty with the Coast Guard in December I have seven months off before graduate school , and would like to get out on the water. I am available 10DEC12, and will be able to meet up with your boat anywhere on the East or West Coast, Europe, or South America. Longer term commitments with one vessel, to either hang around on remote beaches or for deliveries, are preferred.
A bit about me: I am a 27 year old male with a decent amount of sailing experience. I sailed to Argentina to Uruguay in the Fall of 2006, spent two years assigned to the Coast Guard Cutter Gallatin, and have been an active adult volunteer with the Sea Scouts in Washington, D.C. I am one who enjoys to go out; the words “port” and “call” together still make my ears perk up. My preference would be to sail with like tempered individuals.
I also speak German fluently and have a functional knowledge of Spanish. If I can be of any use on your boat, for either shared cost or paid positions, please let me know by PM.

Hi Chris,

I would like to have your private email address to be able to contact you sometimes around November/December. I should finalize the purchase of a Hunter 37 cutter in November in NC. Then until next April, I wish to sail around NC and set up the boat to sail to Montreal Canada. I have some experience in sailing (crew aboard a 60' ketch) but need to train with an experienced skipper before putting sails away to the blue water.
