For Sale: Yanmar 2GM20F - Used One Year - 1300 Hours

My Yanmar 2GM20F doesn't have quite enough power for the boat, so I am replacing with a 3GM. I want to sell the 2GM to recover some costs. I bought it new for the boat about 15 yrs ago, ran it briefly once a year, finally got the project into the water and it has propelled the boat for approximately 1300 hours, all in the past 15 months. It has been run hard, as a diesel should be. Oil and filter changes every 100 hours. Does not burn or leak any oil and only has a couple small areas of surface rust, for example on the air filter. It will be available in Newport, RI towards the end of July. I need to get about $3000 for this engine, which is complete with transmission, panel, and everything you would need except the boat to put it in. If you need about 15 horses, or especially if you need a 2GM20F, which are no longer made, don't miss out on this one, you won't find a better one unless it is new old stock still in the crate.
