Wooden Ketch 35', 1975, Full Ownership or Half-Share

See pictures of "Thea Lee" at user: cmiddelmann - photo albums

Born in Quincy Mass, hand crafted by famed builder Francis Loud in 1975.
34ft on deck, 39 ft tip to tip with boomkin and bowsprit
Originally a sloop, she was beautifully refitted by previous owner and shipwright, John White, when the boat's name was then "White Wings".
He shortened the main boom, and added the matching Mizzen Mast and boomkin off the stern. He also lengthened the bowsprit and added roller furling.
Hull was completely re-fastened in 1996 and she is rock solid - Mahogany planking on steam-bent oak frames.
Simple interior with newer royal-blue cushions, two settees slide together to form huge bigger-than-king-size bed, double Vee-berth up front - good for kids.
Cockpit cushions in green Sunbrella, 6ft long and good to sleep outside in summer.
New set of Sails from Harding Sails in Marion MA - sets her off in the sunlight.
Currently berthed in-water for the winter in Wickford, RI.
I have owned her the past 7 years and sailed throughout New England, to Boston last summer, to the Vineyard, Block, Newport, and all through the LI Sound.
An awesome boat, ready to leave the dock in 15 minutes... always needing a bit of extra TLC in the varnish department... Does not leak a drop.
Newer Yanmar 30hp in perfect working order.

Interested in finding a new owner, or perhaps a half-share owner to help with maintenance and upkeep and enjoy sailing her as much as you would like.
I have moved south to Atlanta and turned my sights southward toward Bahamas, altho' we had a number of good outings this past summer in RI.
Can be viewed in Wickford, RI - but is under canvas covers for the most part, and closed up for winter with a heater warming her insides.

"Thea Lee" value would be around $30,000. She is a simple craft, minimal electronics, alcohol stove, small head, no hot water .... but ya gotta LOVE her!
