I have a new Seafrost bd 12v fridge /freezer with 2 stainless steel holding plates.
This is the latest seafrost model.Has all fittings and controls for DIY.Everything is pre-gassed with self sealing fittings.
I had a 33" connecting pipe made so the 2 plates can be in separate compartments if necessary.This pipe is also pre-gassed

Just have a few questions

Can it be used as a fridge in one compartment and a freezer in the other.
Do you know the size of the boxes that the plates are designed to cool.

No , i don't think so because how can you control the 2 plates separately.The system comes with only one temp controller.The way it works in my boat is as follows.My fridge is separated from my freezer with an insulated panel that has a hole in the top and bottom to allow air to flow from the freezer into fridge compartment.The freezer has a horizontal lift up door and the fridge a vertical side opening door.I set the dial at 2* and this keeps my freezer frozen and fridge cold.My freezer is 3 1/2 feet deep by 2 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet deep. Fridge is 3 1/2 feet high , 2 feet wide and 2 1/2 feet deep.

Ok, thanks for the info - was not sure if it had dual temp control.
I will have a look at the dimensions compared with mine and get back to you.
