I came across an earlier post where you talked about your E40. I am considering getting one for a South Pacific crossing and cruise. Do you think the boat is up to it? If so, why? I have seen some slamming from other posters on Sailnet regarding the Bluewater capabilities of Endeavors. Of course, they like to slam most boats .

Any insight that you would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

No, I lived in Auburn for years, I believe LaFayette is north of there a few miles.

My place is about 50 miles NW of B'ham on the road to Tupelo, MS and Memphis, TN.

It's not a town or city actually. Just a community in a rural area. My grand dad gave land on each end of his farm property to build two churches. So it grew from there as a community. The property has five springs coming out of limestone base rock, and the ridge line has a about dozen springs in the area.

Cptn Happy: I am Don Vernine & I live & sail an Endeavour 37 that I recently purchased to replace my Endeavour 32 that I owned for 22 years. IThe 37 came with an alpha 3000 a/p. And I have put in about 60 hours trying to get it to work including many calls to Crhis @ Alpha Marine. I noticed that in 2006 you mentioned that you had some spare parts for this autopilot. If you still have them I would be interested in the possibility of purchashing them from you. Please let me know if this "outside possibility " exists. Thanx
