Where the Para-Tech Anchor will be shipped from would be good information to have.

may I enquire why you are selling it? was thinking about starting a thread on the best sea anchor..

I dont like the idea that you have to move towards the sea anchor (also Fiorentinas parachute anchors) to get it aboard again.

Hi
Sorry you are unhappy with the type of product which I am selling. As listed, this is unused so I have no opinion for you. Perhaps you can get some feedback on the discussion forums. Good luck.

sorry I was just speaking in general... nothing against you or your 'product' mate.

was just wondering why you wanted to let it go - Im thinking about constructing a different version of the parachute for easy deployment and recuperation!

PS
The employment parachute is fine in use, probably (as I never used this model), though the disengagement of the contraption by one person in a hurricane or Atlantic swell seems somewhat less entertaining..

Sure . . . . I wish I could help you more. Maybe best if you try the discussion forum for feedback on that rather than in my classified ad. Thank you and good luck with that.

To recover the parachute or any sea anchor deployed from the bow you should already be at an approximate 40 degree angle which means you can sail upwind relaxing the pull. Retrieve as you go. Or just use the iron jib. Probably more difficult are those deployed from the stern which are the type I don't much like.

I'ld rather slow my drift rate and let the weather pass over me than go along with it thereby prolonging the situation. Others choose different methods...that's just IMHO.
