NOS Adler-Barbour Super Cold Machine Fridge with Cold Plate !

Hi all! I'm sitting on a New Old Stock Adler - Barbour Super Cold Machine Unit with the Adler - Barbour cold plate unit. It's got to be close to 10 years old, in it's original (now beat up) box. Anyone interested? Thanks for looking, Chris

Hey all. Sorry I haven't gotten back to each of you yet. The unit is in my storage container, and I need to go down and get some info to better answer your questions. I'm pretty sure it's a Super Cold Machine with the hold-over power plate. It's 12V and I believe it's both water and air cooled (water cooling needs additional parts, not included). I can't quote shipping yet, because I have no idea how much the entire package weighs. Defender wants around $2100 shipped for the pair... Remember, this has sat around for awhile, and I'll take less than half that... I'll post more as soon as I can get to the locker... Thank you for the response, Chris

Can you give me any info on unit? I presume it is 12v., air cooled. I am interested in it.

Re: NOS Adler-Barbour Super Cold Machine Fridge with Cold Plate !

OK. here's all I know; The Fridge is an Adler - Barbour Super Cold Machine with the Power Plate option. According to the box label it was manufactured in 2000, and everything looks brand new / uninstalled. The label lists the model# as PB1030-134 and the serial # as 40230, if I read the handwriting right. It's the 12 volt Super unit with the option to water cool (with the addition of, not included, parts). Defender has the new unit and the PowerPlate for sale at around $2100. I'll take $795 plus shipping. Shipping should be less than $40 for the continental USA, which is the only place I will ship to... Several people have already contacted me and offered to buy the setup, but only wanted the SuperColdMachine without the powerplate. I will not split up the unit, and if that is all you need I suggest you buy the whole thing and sell the PowerPlate on eBay. Defender wants $1100 for the plate alone. If you buy the unit for $800, and sell the plate for $400, you just got a great SuperColdMachine for $400... DUH. I know very little about refrigeration, but I do know that Adler-Barbour makes a good unit...
