Want To Buy: LEWMAR Concept 1 Motor

I am looking for a used but in good shape lewmar concept one motor only.
The one I have works but the housing is almost rusted thru and it has lots of internal rust.
I have found the motor and gearbox for sale on defender for $750. But all I need is the motor and lewmar does not sale it separately.

If any one has replaced there lewmar concept one motor with something other than a lewmar successfully please let me know.
I am in Florida at this time.

You might want to call shops that deal with antique cars and find out if there is a starter and generator re-builder (good old time style) in your area. Most 12 volt motors originate from automotive needs. It is worth a few phone calls. ______Grant.
