Looking to buy an Icom ssb what you got?

there have been a couple of M802's sell on EBAY in the last week, The prices have been very reasonable, however you are buying sight unseen, There was one that went for $600.00. Ont yesterday from Cay Electronics in Rhode Island for just over 800.00. These seem like good prices as used 802's are hard to find. I saw one tonight complete with AT140 at about a 1000.

I have seen a few 710 in the area of 550 to 600 with tuner,

Dang, didn't see the 600 dollar one. The one that went for just over 800.00 didn't have DSC- it was the "general edition". I don't think it had the one-button email capability, either. I expect the listing that includes the AT140 to go for 1400+.

After watching and using eBay for some time, I have formed the opinion that listings for popular items benefit the seller, not the buyer. Better to look at craigslist or local classifieds if possible for deals. A perfect example is what people are willing to pay for a used Honda eu2000i. But all that said, I'm still keeping my eye out for a bargain on eBay AND craigslist.
