Standard equipment:

Accommodations
Sleeps eight in three staterooms and convertible dinette. Matched double (6'6" X 48") berth staterooms aft in each hull. Main Salon in center of boat with chart area and storage to port and galley to starboard. U-shaped dinette with seating for six to eight. Dinette converts to a double berth. Forward on port is the head/shower area with a folding plexiglass door seperating the shower area from the head. Forward on starboard is the master stateroom with a standard queen berth (6'6" X 5'4"). Large polycarbonate windows provide ample light and good visibility.
Stratipont Teak & Holly floorboards cabin soles and abundant teak trim throughout. Sand grey formica counter tops, moulded headliner and FRP panels make for low a maintenance interior.




Galley Equipment
The galley comes standard with hot and cold pressure water, four cubic foot Dometic 110V/propane refrigerator with freezer, two burner propane stove with oven and broiler, double sink and manual fresh water pump (foot). Ample storage for dry goods and kitchenware is provided under the galley counter and in cabinets opposite the counter area. There is counter top work surface on both the inboard and outboard sides of the galley and a paper towel holder and spice rack shelf above the sink counter.

Sails and Rigging
39' fractional double spreader anodized aluminum spar by Selden. Stainless wire standing rigging. The mast features a minimal fractional rig with an adjustable backstay on a 1 ft. crane. This new, efficient full battened, big head mainsail easily goes through the backstay improving drive and reducing heel.

Hull & Deck Equipment

Hulls are shallow with an advanced tear drop shape giving high load carrying (450 lb. per hull per 1 inch) on a hull that produces small bow wave. There are sealed buoyancy tanks forward, center and aft in each hull.
Centerboard design: The advanced asymmetric shape provides lift to windward with reduced drag. The center-board cases have a Plexiglas cover enabling the operator to see whether they are up or down and how far. Centerboards are operated from inside and will easily kick up if the boat is grounded. The boards allow 5 ft 6 in draft when down and 18 in when up.

Engine & Additional Equipment
The engine is a 27 hp Westerbeke diesel with 35-amp alternator and heat exchanger for hot water. The engine drives a liftable, steerable outdrive leg from Sillette marine with a large efficient propeller, and can motor in 33 inches of water. A seacock with fresh water connector makes winterizing and fresh water flushing easy. The engine compartment is lined with Soundown lead and foam sound insulation. There are two 15 gal diesel tanks with fuel shut off and three filters. The instrument panel has a tachometer, hour meter, oil pressure and water temperature gauges. The Westerbeke diesel is fresh water cooled with a self-priming fuel system. (no bleeding injectors. The Sillette Sonic Drive leg retracts up out of the water when sailing or at anchor and is lowered while under power. The outdrive leg steers in conjunction with the rudders.

There may be good reasons to sell her but remember, a good boat is like a good wife: hard to find, sometimes costly to maintain, once in a while a pain in the butt, but almost always worth more than Rubies; and, virtually impossible to replace. Perhaps there is another way...
