I purchased this unit early 90s and used it during Bahamas and offshore trips on my 30' sailboat through early 2000s at which time, it was cleaned and pickled with biocide. It comes with a 12VDC motor that draws about 4 Amps. The extended cleaning kit (biocide, membrane cleaning adapter, etc), manual handle and prefilter set up is included.
