Crossing to Australia from North America

My name is Darren, I have been walking, canoeing, and sailing across Canada for seven months. I currently joined this forum to try to get on a boat crossing the Pacific to Australia. I am interested in leaving in the a couple of months at least before June, 2012. Any help referrals or comments are greatly appreciated.
