Compac 23 with outboard.

Compac 23 for Sale

Year 1997. Price 9500.00.(boat alone) Honda Outboard 1500.00 This micro cruiser is perfect for the rocky mountains. With its trailer it can be splashed at many of our lakes. It’s 2.5 foot draft allows it to go into every nook and shallow bay. Being a cabin cruiser, a small family can live in it and fish, sail and enjoy life for a weekend at a time.
I got this boat many years ago because it sails like a true cruising sailboat. It handles the wind well, and will always take care of you. It is of quality construction, with many parts of it looking like new. If you know Compac sailboats, you know the 23 is a quality boat, built to last. I have now moved up to an ocean cruiser, so this little boat needs a new home. Here is an opportunity to get into sailboat cruising in an inexpensive way.
It has:
3000 lbs displacement
2.5 ft draft (modified rudder)
8 foot beam
4 berths one double and two singles
Portapotty- flushable for about 30 times before dumping.
Sink, stove
Radio
Fans
Electric self steering
Barometer, temperature and Ships Clock
Speedometer and Depth meter
Compass at helm.
CQR and Fisherman’s anchors. The CQR is on a small chain rode and integrated to the bow of the boat.
Roller furling jib with UV guard, Main with two reefs.
12 volt system: Solar charger, outlets, pump for water, bilge pump.
110 volt system: outlets, battery charger, Marine electric cord to hook up at dockside.
Its axillary is a 9.9 hp Honda with generator. Very dependable and rebuilt.
The standing rigging is all new, the running rigging is serviceable for a few more years.
New bottom paint, topsides. The Brightwork has been maintained and she is ready to sail. I have always babied her and bought the best for my boat. Will deliver for 1 dollar a mile.

I can be reached by PM (preferred) or an mrkgillis at yahoo dot com. The boat is in Layton Utah.

Also saw the listing here.

Re: Compac 23 with outboard.

Thanks guys. I would never sell her but my wife has made it clear that out of two boats and one wife I can keep two of the above.

Re: Compac 23 with outboard.

Still for sale. Going to put it back in the water if I get no nibbles. She is a good sailing boat after all.

Re: Compac 23 with outboard.

Surprised no nibbles on this Compac. There is a trailer sailor site too I think, and I'm sure you've thought of Craigslist...

I do miss the lake sailing from my days with a trailerable. Fresh, cool, water everywhere....

cheers-

Re: Compac 23 with outboard.

These boats have a great rep.. I'm sure this is a prime example. This may be the wrong audience!
