Cheap Boat- big enough for 5

Hi - we are just new here, though really enjoying this forum.
We are looking to buy a cheap boat (that's prob going to need TLC) we are fully capable of fixing ourselves as we work in the industry and have refitted/painted and love our last boat, that we had to devastatingly sell due to a messy law suit.
Seeing the light of life on the other-side of litigation we are ready to whisk up the family and head out cruising and some us time.
We are an Australian family currently located in the UK - ready to go to the Caribbean. Any assistance on leads of cheap boats or kind people that can look at unloved left boats on marinas and moorings would be awesome.

What is cheap is relevant...

Better you specify how much you have to spend.

Hi Billiant,

Would be a huge help if you could define what you call cheap. What is cheap to one person might be rich to another.

Also useful to know the breakdown of the five family members. Small children that can bunk together, adult couple, adult children that must have their own space?
