I've never heard the Catalina 25 referred to as a motor sailer before but if you mostly motored then that's what she is.
I didn't see a centerboard trunk in the photos so assume it is a fin keel model?
Your ad caught my interest because I like the Cat 25 and used to own a 22 many years ago. You live in Salem where I was born and raised and my siblings still live there. South High graduate here and went to at least 5 different elementary schools in town. Just visited Newport last fall and stopped at the Rogue Ales Public House for some tasty clam chowder and great beer.

Hi SkiprJohn! Nice to hear from another Oregonian! Salem is having a nice summer .... not too hot, not cool. It was 78 here today. That Rogue Brewery has some tasty food and, it goes without saying ... beer! Hope you enjoyed your visit there. There's also a distillery now right there. Our boat WAS moored at The South Beach Marina off that parking lot, but we're not at the Embarcadero where we own a slip.

Yup --- it's a fixed keel boat and we've NEVER sailed her .... just motored. And darn little, at that. We just feel bad .... we're not sailors & this boat is just too nice to sit in the marina. We need something that's a little more of a "camper," and let this boat get out on the water again.

Good luck with your sale. Wish I could come take a look and the wife would let me buy something there to sail while the great weather is in your area. As it is I have a very big boat project that keeps me busy here.
