This is a good solid dinghy with oarlocks. Could use paint. Has small damage on fwd stbd rim. Looks as if it may have been cut with something. Small spot doesn't leak or hurt strength. real stiff boat but easily carried by one person. Will arrange to meet on ICW south of Norfolk.

I don't have a boat right now and I'm thinking about grabing up on this. And when I do get a boat it will most likely come with a dinghy. If I do I'll ait until Jan. after the holidays.

Sorry, West Virginia is not on the ICW and I have no way to deliver by land. Dink will be in Deltaville, VA until around Jan 1 if you want to come get it.

No papers and the guy I got it from knows the last 3 owners none of whom had papers. I will be happy to provide a bill of sale.

I don't know the weight but would guess around 60 lbs. I can pick it up with one hand, put it on my shoulder and walk with it no problem. and yes, I'm coming south, leaving on or about Jan 1.

Two more questions

do you think it would hold an 18hp two stroke? And what do you think the beam is? I am in bad need of a new dingy!!!

In my opinion, an 18hp motor on a 8' hard dink is a mistake if you don't want your motor to go swimming. If I were keeping it, I would be looking for a 4 or 5 horse. But thats me, and I'm no daredevil. Someone very experienced at handling these might be able to do an 18hp, I don't know.

Unsure on beam... 4' maybe? I would rather swim to shore than pull this ugly little thing behind your beautiful boat. Of course, you would NEVER have to worry about it being stolen. It actually wouldn't look bad with some paint.

Do you by any chance know who the manufacturer is? I have the exact same model.

For registering mine, I just claimed on the paperwork that I home-built it (there was no bill of sale). I figure I had to do some re-glassing, so it wasn't entirely untrue.

I stick a 4HP 2-stroke merc on it. It's about the max size I would use.
