37' Sailboat Available May 5th - Miami

I have finish my cruise, and i am ready to spend some time on land
I would like to rent my boat until i finish some jobs on land.
So if someone is willing to sail around Caribbean islands, or around the world... this would be perfect opportunity to rent good boat for low price and to have adventure of your life...

it have 2x95 W solar panels, full kitchen and head with shower, VHF radio
Main engine does not work, but solar panels are giving enough energy for your needs.
On bracket is installed 9hp outboard motor, which can move boat.
Boat have all needed coastal guard equipment.
With this boat we recommend that you rent dinghy also..

Then do it.

Sounds like a reasonable price for a month of sailing.

As a rental, that seems steep since as someone else mentioned, you could buy it in a year at that rate. As a charter, it sounds like a great deal. I guess it depends on how you market it.

Re: 37` Sailboat Available May 5th Miami

it also have gps/sonar unit on it

@ wanafish
this is option for people who do not want to maintain boat and are willing to sail around Caribbean for few weeks/months
if you buy boat it will cost you for everything.. registration, transfer, repairing of ship, dock, etc.
this is option for people which would like to come, sail and to return to regular life after that...
some people just want to rent boat sail few weeks... and return to job.. and consider i have finish my sailing... i would like to rent boat until i raise the sails again..

Jurisnik1, I think your fighting a losing battle here, from what I can see, noone will take up your offer of $3,000 a month.

She does look a beauty though, will you be considering selling her outright?

Have you tried marketing this through a vacation rental, craigslist, or the local marina?

It still feels like a monthly rate for a boat is not a good fit. You could try shorter terms as a charter at a bit higher rate. Weekly rates in the area range from 1200/week to 5,000/week. Without a working engine, you are definitely not going to get a higher rate, but check with the marinas to see if they will represent you.

It does look ok, but I'm with the others, I would rather buy it then rent it for a period, love the cruising life and then we find ourselves that much shorter in buying price at the end of it.. I assure you, not trying to be a odd ball, but good luck with your rental.. I like the other ideas of a much shorter term lease/charter...
