Dry docking lavezzi

I need to do some repairs and put my lavezzi 40 on dry dock.
Can she stand on her keels without damaging props, rudders etc?
Do I need to make up stands
Can anyone give advice?

Yes, you can put a Lavezzi on the keels. My Lavezzi has been on the hard last winter in Portugal withoud any problem. Both rudder and saildrive are higher up, so you will not damage them. Normally a yard will put wooden blocks under the keels so the underside does not get damaged.

Good luck and have fun. If you happen to have the volvo saildrives, make sure to clean the seven holes for the cooling water intake plus as much of the inside as you can get to. Is is a hopeless system and gets clogged up a lot. If I were to dock again, I would replace this with a traditional through hull water intake for the cooling water.
