my question is :
how many tracks and how many marks is possible to display ?
There is a limit or the limit is speed of CPU (SO?) or Ram Or HDD?

I think the practical limit is the speed of the CPU and graphics card.

Although there have been several tries for optimization in the last years overlay objects such as tracks, marks or others are still limited even with a fast cpu or graphic. E.g. there was an AIS feed for raw AIS data of the Baltic Sea which shows more than 1000 AIS targets when displaying the whole Baltic Sea. These objects freeze the system horrible...
Same is with other objects like tracks or marks even with the fastest machine you can get. It is simply a design fault of the code.
