Looks like I will need to buy that RAM.
And just to update on this issue, going from 512MB to 768MB solved the problem. Looking at memory stats, 768MB seem to be 'just enough'.

Re: OpenCPN Release Candidate Version 3.1.1411 Released

bzs

A couple of things.
*Please test the latest beta 3.1.1417
*Do not run as "root". It's not a good habit. You only need root/sudo for "make install"
* make sure that bzip2 is installed

What distro are you compiling on?

Re: OpenCPN Release Candidate Version 3.1.1411 Released

Hi,

my config:
Slackware linux 13.37,
kernel: 3.3.3
xfce etc.

I forgot to mount the /usr/include directory.
It's okay, I ask your indulgence.

Opencpn is a excellent work!
Thanks
