OpenCPN on Intel Compute stick (Windows 10)

Just finished installing the USB power monitor for the Intel Compute stick USB power.

Results are promising at ~2W of use for the compute stick alone. Will upgrade to 4.2.0 soon, but don't expect any problems or difference.

Advantage of Windows is that I can run all my firmware upgrade tools for the myriad of equipment on board.

The monitor is a faytech touch monitor (resistive HDMI options):

Which model of compute stick are you using?

This is the 1st gen model with the Z3735F processor. I've done a similar test with the 2nd gen model 8300 processor (which has USB 3.0 and therefore much more useful, the results were very similar (I think it's max consumption was 3W)).

The benchmarks for the two processors look pretty similar except for the graphics. Do you notice any improvement in screen refresh on the Z8300?

No, no noticeable speed differential. Like I said, the major gain for me is the USB 3.0 port.
