Night on CPN for Mac

I downloaded the last version of opencpn for mac ...
but i can only get the screen in night version, from black to pitch black ...
anyone else with the same problem, and maybe with the solution?

Version 3.0.0 works fine on my C2D MBP with Snow Leopard. Well, fine except that the default text handling on vector charts is a mess on most resolutions.

You should indicate the OCPN version number and OS X version number when asking for help.

If you were previously using a much older version you should probably have started by removing the old pref/config files and reloading the charts. Otherwise, I don't have any ideas. Wait a few hours and perhaps someone in Europe will be able to help.

you are right,
there was no previous version installed, actually this is a new computer , as my notebook died ..i finally decided to move from windows to mac ...
the system is os x lion 10.7.4
and opencpn 3.0.0
as i open it it appears with the black background, and if i use the night button it goes from dark to darker ....

At least you get credit for owning up to it.

Post very often here and you will likely have other opportunities to learn humility - there is always someone who knows better. Such is the price for learning.
