MxCart has been released in beta on the main mxmariner site. Perhaps this as been answered already but how to use it? There are no help notes with the app for linux. It installs fine, Im just at a bit of loss on the command set. If someone could point me to a link where its been discussed or provide the basic command structure for linux, it would be greatly appreciated.

from the terminal, type "mxcart"

a GUI window will open...

Sorry Im a dolt... On a netbook and the qui did not resize to the available screen, so did not see the buttons on the bottom. Once the screen size is resized the app works as advertised. Many thanks.

Works as advertised. Process on 2nd gen netbook with 1 gig of memory. Took about an hour but the Antartic charts from sources on line work fine on MxMariner. Simple test only not that I have intentions of going that far south...

Installed MXCART on a laptop running Windows XP. When launched it briefly dislpalys and empty window (title bar, frame, black window) then exits.

Suggestions on getting it to work?

Also just used the demo version of MAPC2MAPC to create GEMF and DAT files from existing BSB (.KAP) charts. They show as installed under MXMARINER, but chart images do not display, nor do boundaries.
