Most supported GPS for OpenCPN on OS-X?

Title says it all.

Google results are mixed, discontinued products, etc. Love to know what folks are using for a GPS on their Mac's with OpenCPN.

I use the Qstarz 818xt 10hz, available from Amazon since several years for my MacBookPro.

I'm using the BU-353 GPS on my Mac, which you simply plug into the USB port. Plug and Play, no extra software needed to work. 1Hz updates, no issues noted. $30 on Amazon. OpenCPN has no problem recognizing it.
