Importing Fugawi .trk files

Newbie alert!

Hi! First post here and I'm hoping someone can help me. I apologise if this has been asked before but I've tried searching the forums and have been unable to find an answer.

I've got a whole lot of Fugawi .trk files that I'd like to be able to import into and display from OpenCPN. I think I could do it by opening each as a text file, editing the header, saving as .GPX then loading into CPN but is there an easier way? I really don't fancy doing that with all the .trk files I have.

I have no idea what the .trk format of Fugawi is, but if it can't be converted to GPX by GPSBabel: convert, upload, download data from GPS and Map programs and still is as simple as editing a text file, it will probably be reasonably easy to create a custom style for GPSBabel or write a script to do so.
