Charts Panama, Caribbean, and NW Caribbean

1. Read the manual at www.opencpn.org.
2. Puerto Rico and the USVI can be downloaded from NOAA
3. CYC charts for the E Carib. can be purchased and should work with Opencpn. (These may require a plugin)
4. Sometimes you can find an illegal download of the CM93 charts that covers the planet; however I just looked and didn't find.

It appears that CYC has been purchased by NV. NV seems to have converted from BSB to another format.

Anybody else with better info? Please.

For NV charts under OCPN you have the corresponding plug-in (Win only)

I have described in Chart Sources | Official OpenCPN Homepage how NV-charts covers the Bahamas with BSB 3 (.kap)format charts. I think that this also applies to more old CYC areas. The best is probably to contact NW-charts US, to sort this out once and for all.
