I have an Standard Horizon GX1256S radio with CMP 25 remote mic. that stopped working. I have replaced the mic with a CMP 30 and new cable but the mic display will not light up, the only thing I can do from the mic is turn off the main radio. Any suggestions as to what can be wrong?

If your radio dealer is nearby, best suggestion I have is to bring the radio, and the old and new mics there and have them test everything. Maybe the original mic is fine and it's something wrong in the radio.
