Raymarine MFD reboots

Our helm display, Raymarine i70, reboots randomly every 6-7 hours and momentarily impacts the depth gauge (very disconcerting when you're in The Ditch!). It's on our 2015 Leopard 40, purchased in July. We updated the software right away, so couldn't say if that impacted anything.

Then occasionally it get's locked in a reboot cycle requiring it's power to be reset at the circuit panel

Raymarines are sensitive to voltage sags. I have a friend with a power boat that was attempting to run his cabin AC system off of the inverter while running but when the compressor would cycle on and put a big draw on the batteries his chartplotter would reboot. If you have something putting a big load on your12v system for even a couple of second and dropping the voltage this could be causing your reboot. It might be that after sailing for 6 or 7 hours and not charging your batteries that a load like a refrigerator cycling on might drop the voltage enough for just a few second that it causes the reboot.
