Raymarine C80 stops working

a few weeks ago my Raymarine C80 began to not turn on when pushing the red button, but it does it not always, sometimes yes, sometimes no.
But now it stops definitively to work.
Raymarine said thas it could be the power supply board...600€
does anybody knows if the PCB is repairable, may be electronic component which could have spoiled.
not having schemes is not easy to repair it.
pls help

Likely it is the contacts on your screen that are messing things up... Try pushing in on the screen gently and wiggle it up and down... If this seems to help things, it's a fairly simple fix documented here in a few places...
