Quality of current model Raymarine, esp radar?

I'm curious about the quality if the current line of Raymarine products, in particular their MFDs and radar. On paper they look good, but reality often differs. Are there a lot of bugs like in the Simrad products, or is the quality better?

And how well does the radar work, especially MARPA? I'd be really interested in a video clip or two of the following MARPA tests. Furuno does real well on both tests, and Simrad fails miserably. I'd really like to see where Raymarine fits in.

Test 1, MARPA on an AIS target: Pick a target that has AIS and is showing a motion vector. Lock onto the same target with MARPA. Once acquired, how do the AIS and MARPA vectors compare? They should match very closely.

Test 2, Multiple MARPA locks on the same target: Pick a target and acquire it multiple times (2-3) with MARPA. Once acquired, how do the MARPA vectors compare to each other? They should match very closely

Thanks in advance.

I'm happy with our raymarine e series and radar. MARPA works ok, but only as well as it keeps the image. I occasionally use it to track squalls or smaller yachts. It often loses track after 5 minutes tracking, but usually because the target disappears or dissipates. Usually MARPA is ok for out of visual range, but up to 20 miles range. It's functional enough and I'm sure I could tune the radar for better performance if need be. Most targets worth tracking are transmitting AIS anyway. The iPad wifi interface is great btw.

Btw, that storm was as ugly as the radar indicated
(Electrical storm, not wind storm)
