Is this a scam

I am in the market for some new instruments and an internet search turned up this site. Seems too good to be true. Has anyone tried to buy anything from this site? I'm thinking it must be a scam?

I paid a little over $1000.00 2 1/2 years ago for that package in Canada from a Raymarine dealer, it could be old, out of warranty inventory being dumped...

Re: Is this a scam

Hi Kbudd,
if you do a google search on Sale Tools you will find that they are a scam internet site. I think I came across this site about a year or so ago looking at similar gear. I stayed well clear.

Seems legit. Raymarine is likely phasing out this series, or already has. Now a scam is the solicitation I received yesterday from someone in North Korea offering to invest in my business. I've received them from various African countries, but North Korea? Never. Probably the investment would be made in diode detonators.

Re: Is this a scam

I always do a google search on any vender I am considering dealing with followed by the word.....scam....or problems... Or complaints. It often turns up what I suspected. I even check all those great deals they offer on infomercials. The search usually turns up all the small print and pressures to buy more as well as what the product will really cost you.
