Icom Tuning Issue

My icom won't stayvon a channel longer than ten minutes I have read the manual back forward inside out any suggestions?

sounds like a heat issue, temp buildup changing the BFO

What model Icom is it? If it is a ham radio with continuously variable vfo encoder dial, you may have the dial brake set too loose. Vibration or even the weight of an imbalanced knob can cause it to rotate on its own. Marine radio's are channelized and their encoder switches have solid detents in them that prevents this problem although moisture/corrosion/dirt inside the switch could cause this problem.
