Icom IC 735 SSB - Any Good ?

Just curious. I just bought a working one with digital tuner for $ 85.00. It was set up for Sailmail and Weather Faxes when they pulled it two days ago.

It's an excellent ham radio. They have all the bells and whistles you need and are extremely durable ...... I have two of them myself!

They get excellent owner reviews and apparently typically resell for closer to $400, which is about half of the price when new 20 years ago. Sounds like you got a steal, Charlie.

Sweet, now all I have to do is figure out how to set it up and use it. Oh Joy had an SSB before and has the antenna setup and ground straps already.

Oh, and get licensed...
