Horizon/Navman wind instrument masthead unit?

G'DAy all,

My faithful (?) Standard Horizon WS-100 wind instrument (wind point portion) has gone bonkers. After a lot of troubleshooting, it appears that the masthead unit has died. Despite the fact that Horizon still advertises a WS-150 unit which uses the same masthead stuff, they can't supply a replacement part. They suggested contacting Navman, who seem to have inherited the product line... oops, Navman seems to have been absorbed by Northstar... oops, Northstar seems to be part of Navico now (I think). The genealogy gets confusing, but so far I've not been able to source a replacement here in Australia or via the web from the parent companies.

I'd welcome a chance to buy a second-hand one, or to find a source for a new one. Any help appreciated.
