In defense of those of us who just memorize the answers, the questions on the test in Canada which I understand are similar to those in the US are so far afield from what I plan to actually do with my license that it makes a lot of sense to just memorize them. I don't need to know how to build an antenna to use my SSB courteously and safely on the high seas.

I took a one day class in Northern Ca. Where we studied the answers over and over again for 2 hours. then wrote the test and past. For me, it was the way to go.

There are 850 questions in the pool. How did you know which questions to study in 2 hours? Did they give you just the questions that were on the tests they were going to give you that day?

I did mine a long time ago in Ireland , just after the code requirement was dropped. I studied for it in the car to the test.!!!!!
