B&G Hornet 4 problem

I have some very old B&G instruments and they used to work a few weeks ago but the wind speed unit seems to have given up the ghost. I've attached a picture which shows the problem. Before this failure, the wind speed and direction on the remote display was very inaccurate. Some of the buttons on the unit I can't even push in any more. Is one of the buttons causing this error? Can I disassemble the unit and repair the buttons? Anyone seen this before? I know they're old but I am not ready to replace them and would love to get them working for a bit more.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nick

Darn it we ripped one out about a year ago - will see if we still have the parts but I think the Hornet 4 went in the dumpster.
