Bit small for even crossing the English Channel. I know the French are fanatics for sailing but I would be looking elsewhere unless you only want to sail in protected waters.

Pete this is a first boat for the family, something for a bit of trailer sailing so short costal hops in good weather is all that's planned. I'm looking at this or a sailfish 18. As it's a small cat I'm expecting it to be quite lively and fun in comparison to a small mono hull but haven't been able to find anything out about it.
