Retube the old AB or Buy new dinghy?

I bought my first sailing boat almost 1 year ago, at that time old (8 years) AB 3.1 mts dinghy already show need of TLC, but I just kept using it anytime I needed...now it's in really need of repair, or replace for new one (aluminium bottom/hull, hipalon and 3., much lighter and don't require my actual Yamaha 15hp outboard, wich can be replaced by a lower hp and so more gasoline saving.... Well I still love my actual AB 3.1mts double floor Fiberglas bottom and hipalon tubes (but heavier than the aluminum that I mention above) the thing is that I'm planning to keep my actual dinghy, for that I need to pay close to thd price of a new dinghy (same size bit with single aluminium bottom/hull. I would like to listen from you if you passed by this experience, and what's your views about my situation at the moment? Thank you so much in advance.

Buy a new aluminum AB. Keep your old 15hp Yamaha.
