Coronado 41

I would appreciate any info on the Coronado 41 that you could give me. They seem like a lot of boat for the money. Thanks

Aloha,
I do not mean to upset any Coronado 41 owners here on the forum but in my mind they are not easy on the eyes. They do make great condos.
kind regards,

Re: Coronado 41

I beg to differ that your formosa sails alot better than a 41' coronado while its not a ""racer'' she does alot better than these self proclaimed experts on these forums give her credit for. My boat has logged 38,000 offshore miles and held her own in comparison to other cruising sailboats. not bad for a "dock queen'.

Re: Coronado 41

As far as speed goes I was surprised to hear from a friend who had made the Hawaii to Seattle trip on one that took considerably less than 3 weeks.
kind regards,

Re: Coronado 41

Wait, what is this bias? Are you going to strike out at the Coronado 41's because they came out with the huge freeboard thirty years before these Hunters and Beneteaus of today? Don't pretend that you don't see those "Rice Crispy" boxes out there in the new designs! Sure, the Coronado is the "poddle skirt" out there among the cocktail dresses, but it's 90% hype. The best buy is still the ugliest house on the block. Here's to the wisdom of those above defending their Coronados!

Re: Coronado 41

There it is, the same Bill Trip that designed the Bermuda 40. One is praised and the other maligned, but for that raised freeboard and the builder. How much would you give to have a good boat for 25% the cost? .........I guess about 75% of the price tag!

Re: Coronado 41

I just find it funny how folks are so quick to bad mouth a boat usually without any first hand knowledge. i've never owned a hunter but im sure that there not as bad as some of these armchair sailors make them out to be, there's probally a couple hundred threads on here bashing hunters. I could careless what someone behind a keyboard has to say about my boat I know what it's capable of, where its been and where I plan to take it. AND I did'nt spend 100K to do it.
